How to play Orchard Drop

1. Aim your next fruit inside the basket. Tap the basket, use the position slider or press Left and Right.
2. Drop the fruit. With a pointer, release inside the basket; with the keyboard, use Drop, Enter or Space.
3. Two matching fruits merge when they touch. Their new fruit is larger, so leave room for the next match.
4. Build up to a watermelon while keeping the pile below the dotted line.

Fruit order & score

Blueberry → Cherry → Lime → Peach → Orange → Pear → Melon → Watermelon.

A merge into a cherry gives 10 points, then 20 for a lime, 40 for a peach, 80 for an orange, 160 for a pear, 320 for a melon and 640 for a watermelon. Watermelons stay in the basket and do not merge into another fruit.

When the basket is full

A fruit that stays above the dotted line for 2.5 seconds ends the round. A newly dropped fruit gets time to fall before it counts toward this limit. Start a new round to try a different arrangement.

Controls

On a touch screen, drag your finger to choose a position and lift to drop. The position slider gives finer control. Focus the basket and use Left or Right to aim; Enter or Space drops. Press P or choose Pause for a break.

The game pauses when you switch away from this tab. Resume when you return.

Your best score

Your best score saves in this browser. The current basket is only kept while the page is open; reloading starts a new round. New round asks before clearing an active basket.
